Ballard's - Lake of the Woods, Minnesota

Friday December 9th.  2:00 pm Central.

Current weather and ice conditions continue to hold steady as we wait for a planned starting date of Monday December 12th.  In the specific areas we (Ballard’s Resort) are traveling, we are seeing nine inches of ice on the bay and eight inches of ice on the lake.  With the use of atv’s some of our shacks have now been placed on or near Pine Island.  The goal is to move them to a fishing location tomorrow…  Do some pre-fishing Saturday / Sunday, and then start guiding customers on Monday.
