And have a positive impact on their future. That’s why Ballard’s Resort wants to work with you. We know that kids won’t be kids forever. And introducing your son or daughter to the outdoors is something that doesn’t take a lot of time or money.

An ice fishing adventure on Lake of the Woods can teach patience, respect, and value. It’s a shared tradition that mixes fun and fishing. For the winter of 2012 Ballard’s Resort will be offering its regular ice fishing packages at a 50% rate for kids 12 and under.

Ice Fishing Packages Include

Cabins

Lodging in housekeeping cabins equipped with two single beds per bedroom ( 1, 2, & 3 bedroom cabins available ), daily maid service, stovetop, refrigerator, towels / bedding, cooking utensils, coffee maker, & TV.

Fishing

Angling in fish houses outfitted with two holes per person (2 to 6 person houses available). Poles, bait, tackle, & fish processing are provided.

Transportation

Transit to & from angling house is provided via Bombardier (snow track vehicle).

Advance Deposit $200.00 Per Person
Deposits are non-refundable. Guest is responsible for complete reservation made in advance.

Housekeeping Cabins

Housekeeping cabins include two single beds per bedroom and one daybed in the living room. Towels and bed linens are also provided. The kitchens are complete with stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, and utensils.

Angling Houses Daily Rental

Fish house rental includes use of jig sticks, bait, tackle, fish processing, and guided transit via Bombardier to angling location.

$115.00 per person for full day

$87.00 per person for ½ day

1 Bedroom Maximum Occupancy 3.................$150.00 per night

2 Bedroom Maximum Occupancy 5................$240.00 per night

3 Bedroom Maximum Occupancy 7................$360.00 per night

10 x 20 Sleeper Packages Include: Spacious fishing accommodations, 2 holes per person, gas furnace, lighting, bunks with mattresses, cook stove, utensils, restroom, bait, tackle, fish cleaning table, & taxes.

Transportation to and from the sleeper house is provided. Arrivals will be taken out between 10 am & 2 pm. Departing groups will be picked up between 10 am & 2 pm.

Airline Travel

For fastest service, travel arrangements made with Northwest Airlines can be booked directly to International Falls, MN, which is approximately 80 miles southeast of our resort. Round trip service is available for ground transportation. Rates pending group size.

Snowmobiling

Snowmobilers will find many miles of groomed trails in the Lake of the Woods region. We are connected with Ontario north, Brainerd Lakes south, Iron Range east, & Dakota's west.
