Tuesday March 16th.

Hey Irish…  Are you ready for the big day?!?!

Sportfans…  As mentioned yesterday I will be updating our ice fishing reports on a daily basis until we say WHOA.

Today is a pretty nice day.  Plenty of sunshine and plenty of fun being had on the lake.

The bite treated us fairly well yesterday.  Again good numbers of sauger and some decent walleyes in the mix.

We are fishing the flats close to home and most shacks are now within eyesight of the south shore.  A short ride to and fro…

Ice conditions have not changed much since yesterday.  We still have a couple feet on the main basin.  Wet and slushy on top.  Wear your boots to keep your feet dry as you move in and out of the shacks.

We are accessing the lake from the main shoreline in-betwix Morris and Graceton.  And as of today we are still using the Bombardiers.

The Rainy River and Four-Mile Bay are both “non-travel” areas.  And to my knowledge they are advising no more vehicle travel on the main lake.  ATV’s are the suggestion.

It’s best to call ahead if you intend to strike out on your own.  Make sure of conditions before you venture out.

My reports are very specifc in what we are doing and where we are fishing here at Ballard’s Resort.  I can only advise what I know.
