SAMPLE AGENDA:

2009 Lake Of The Woods Ice Fishing Trip

Day 1 — depart from Your City, USA, 8:00 a.m., arrive at BALLARD'S 3:00 p.m., check-in, receive your lodging assignment, brief orientation, evening dinner, lodging first night.

Day 2 — 6:30 a.m. breakfast, ice fishing (7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.), lunch on the lake, evening dinner at the resort, lodging second night.

Day 3 — 7:30 a.m. breakfast, ice fishing (8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.), lunch on the lake, evening dinner at the resort, lodging third night.

Day 4 — 6:30 a.m. breakfast, ice fishing (7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), lunch at the lodge, departure, evening dinner served on the return coach, arrive back in Your City, USA, 9:00 p.m.

Lodging in cabins

Each unit is complete with living room, two single beds per bedroom, bathroom, TV, towels, bedding, & daily maid service. Based on availability, there are one, two, and three bedroom cabins at hand for reservations.

Guided ice fishing

Includes Bombardier transportation to select areas, angling in spacious (well heated) fish houses outfitted with two holes per person, poles, bait, tackle, & fish cleaning. Two to Six person fish houses are available.

American Plan meals

Featuring gourmet evening dinners (with soup & salad), piping hot breakfasts served every morning, cold meat sandwiches for lunch on the lake, & dinner served on-board the coach for your trip home.

Beverages

Bring a small cooler for food & beverages on your ride up, & also for use in transporting your fish on the way home. Other than at breakfast, you are responsible for your own beverage during lunch & dinner. Our full service bar offers a complete list of beers, liquors, and non-alcoholic beverages. The gift shop also offers the sale of similar beverages, along with snacks & souvenirs.

MN fishing license required

You can purchase a MN angling license here at Ballard's, cost is $18 for MN Resident and $25 for non-resident. Your social security number is needed. Or, prior to the trip, go on-line at www.dnr.state.mn.us and obtain your license.
